Resum
The aim of this thesis is to develop a suitable methodology for the interpretation of electric resistivity images, obtained from Electrical Tomography from the subsoil (with direct-current), and specifically applied to the detection of caves and holes. The location and characterization of holes and caves by means of the geophysical technique is nowadays being resolved in various several ways, because there is not a clear and safe method for the resistivity profile intepretation. This work compiles a novel series of tests performed on well-known objectives that analyse the effects of the main factors that condition resistivity images. This work has two different practical parts: 1.- Electrical response tests performed on well-known objectives. 2.- The application of Electrical Tomography to the karstic area and archaeological site Colonia Clunia Sulpicia (Burgos). Finally, this work suggests a method for the interpretation of real resistivity profiles obtained from the RESDINV software.
