Résumé

The current Dissertation will present the patrimonial value in the folk/popular architecture, as well as the passive solar strategies used in its construction, and it will also propose its application and conservation to the rehabilitation of the living spaces inside the historical monuments, in order to keep those spaces as a valid and appreciated option to live in the XXIst century. Because of its closeness, its beauty, its unawareness, and its climatic and geographic conditions, the chosen region to develop this study has been the province of Caceres and, inside of it, the Northern region surrounded by medium-high mountains, specifically the Jerte area, inhabited since the ancient times, and nailed inside the valley, between two mountains that characterize its climatic situation. After analyzing the strategies, recommendations, offered as regulation norms, will be written in order to initiate a sustainable rehabilitation of the traditional architecture of the Valley of Jerte, respecting the area patrimony, revalidating it, improving its habitability, maintaining the bioclimatic strategies it already has, and, reducing, as much as possible, the exterior need of energy to obtain comfort.
