Resumen

The non-verbal learning disorder (NVLD) is nowadays probably one of the less studied and known disorder, specially from the research point of view. Current studies had proved how patients diagnosed with this disorder present learning difficulties, specially in reading comprehension. However, there is a lack of previous research about how to address an specific intervention with people who is diagnosed with NVLD. The aim of this paper is start exploring within this field of study. With this purpose a case study was run with a person diagnosed with NVLD. With a Pre-Post experimental design are analysed the possible beneficial effects of an specific intervention in reading comprehension. Results reveal an improvement within the basic processes related to the selection, organization and interpretation of the information.
