Resumo
Peninsular Visigothic society provides an ideal example for expressing the critical transition that takes place between two types of society and which reveals the coexistence in time of manifestations of tradition as well as of the change recorded.The study of the Catholic Church is crucial to all this, since as the new protagonist it is paradigmatic in its relations with power, particularly in those that reveal the fulfilling of its fiscal obligations.
