Résumé
Less than two decades ago, Ireland was a tired, lagging economy, suffering from double-digit unemployment and stagnating incomes. Today, Ireland's Celtic Tiger economy is one of the fastest growing in the world, overcoming EU per capita income level and boasting a roaring technology industry and productivity levels among the highest in Europe. In this study we present a continuous-time disequilibrium model to explain economic growth in Ireland. In particular, we try to identify the key factors explaining the so-called Irish miracle by connecting tax policy to growth through FDI
