Resumen
En este trabajo se analizan las características del procesamiento cognitivo de los items de un test computarizado de Visualización, basado en una tarea de Desarrollo de Superficies. Se considera que el número de caras de las figuras tridimensionales no es la condición de la tarea asociada con el empleo de transformaciones o plegamientos mentales. Se postula que la condición denominada "lejanía de la solución" es la que ha de ser controlada para elicitar el uso del proceso característico de la Visualización: la transformación de movimiento.
