Resumen

In the year 2001 the World Health Organization (WHO), it has published a new classification international, named International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), for the description of the health and the states related with the same one, which comes to substitute to the classification of 1980, International Classification of Classification of the Impairments, Disabilities and Handicaps (ICIDH-1). This new classification defines the components of the health and some components related with the health of the «well-being» (such as the education, the work, etc.), and its domains are described from the corporal perspective, singular and by means of two basic listings: Work and Corporal Structures and Activity-Participation. The CIF belongs to the «family» of classifications developed by the OMS to be applied to several aspects of the health. This family of classifications provides the conceptual mark to code and to describe great quantity of information related with the health, using a standardized and unified language that facilitates the communication in the all world between different disciplines and sciences. The basic capacities that the human should be able to carry out for relation and participation, which are in the ICIDH-1 and they are related with those described in the Functional Independence Measure (FIM).
