Résumé

This is a short panoramic view on the development of the phraseological investigation in Russian linguistics. The author presents in chronological order the lexicographical and theoretical premises, as well as the contributions of different authors, describing the historical development of this field. The article contains a short study of the most frecuent linguistic methods used by Russian phraseologists in their investigations. The aim of this article consists in underlining the most important ideas and contributions of Russian specialists in the study of phraseology, even when these contributions concern only one of the phraseological aspects. Every study, every model of scientific analysis is totally justified in its historical context and its own philosophical principles, if it contributes to the clarification of the main object: the phraseology and phraseological unity
