Resumen
In this paper we give a description of the isolated points in the branch locus ℬg of the moduli space of smooth curves of genus greater than or equal to three and we study their automorphism group. To obtain this description, we present a rigorous construction of the irreducible components of ℬg as calculated by Cornalba.
