Resumen
Objective: To determine the impairment of cognitive functions; implementation of a program of physical exercise and observing the changes it produces and the comparison of the levels of speech production of people with AD. Methods: We conducted a longitudinal study with 106 people from Castilla León divided into two groups, control and experimental; which were evaluated with the test Tinetti, Barthel, MMSE and Peabody, where the experimental group performed physical activity for four weeks and they were retested Results: Significant changes were not found in the levels of production of speech, although significant differences were found between the measurement of the balance among men and women Conclusion: Walking improved the verbal communication of the people with Alzheimer's Disease; To lesser degree of disease progression, the physical exercise improves this communication.
