Abstract
This section of the monographic issue "The New and the Old: Electoral Processes, Campaigns and Voting" brings together reflections by different authors on the various political changes that have shaken the world in recent years - especially since the 2008 international economic crisis - and the emergence of new electoral forces, often described as populist.
