Resumen

The presence of 46 pesticides in 23 natural water samples (surface and ground waters) was evaluated in a vineyard area located in the Rioja Oriental region (D.O.Ca. Rioja), using a multiresidue method based on solid phase extraction and high performance liquid chromatography and a mass spectrometry detector (SPE–HPLC–MS). The pesticides metalaxyl, nuarimol and tebuconazole were the compounds majoritary detected in water samples (61%). Individual concentrations higher than 0,1 μg L–1 were detected for 11 of the pesticides analyzed (22%). Total concentrations lower than those established by the EU for drinking water (0,5 μg L–1) were recorded in 91% of the samples. Comparing with the data recorded for water samples during the year 2011, a considerable reduction was obtained in the year 2019.
