Resumen

This research presents the design of an educational intervention to improve the reading comprehension of immigrant students, based on previous research that reveal the difficulties of these students in communication skills and literacy on the basis of their sociocultural background. The ICT will become the main resource to support all the work with the students, because it provides multiple training and intervention opportunities according to the needs and interests of each student. That leads to new contexts and teaching strategies that, in turn, enhance a multicultural collaborative learning approach that promotes the inclusion as the basis of our educational system.
