Abstract

This paper highlights the necessity to create social innovative environments in order to encourage entrepreneurship in a region. We pretend to demonstrate that social innovative environment improve entrepreneurship conditions and allows establishing new firms, improving economic and social wealth, and contributes to develop technologically regions. Therefore, this work aims to demonstrate empirically these relations; in this sense, we employ a sample of 24 countries between 2005 and 2012.
