Resumen

A serological study on 339 animals from two different farms in León has been performed, using complement fixation test. In those farms, porcine pleuropneumonia had formerly been detected. The number of positive sera was high (73,2%) but the same did not happen with the titers, being 40 their most frequent value. Anticomplementary sera were very scarce (0,3%). As for the number of positive animals, no differences were observed during the months in which the study was carried out, but as for the titers some variations were noted. Both farms revealed similar percentages, though the titers were higher in one of them.
