Abstract
It is very important, in our society; students learn to think more and better, to develop competencies for daily life and also as a person in an integral way. The exploratory data presented in this study are the result of a project of research and innovation at the Faculty of Education of the University of Valladolid (Segovia). The objective of this study is to explore the training needs in the knowledge and use of strategies to structure of thinking and deep understanding. It has been found that the students enrolled in the 2nd year of the Degrees of Education analyzed do not present adequate knowledge about this type of strategies.
