Abstract
Atherogenic Dyslipemia (DA) is an alteration of lipid and lipoprotein metabolism. It is characterized by the presence of low levels of cholesterol transported by high density lipoproteins (HDL), hypertriglyceridemia and a high proportion of LDL (LDL: low density lipoproteins) small and dense, with or without a moderate increase in cLDL. This type of dyslipemia is associated with a high cardiovascular risk and contributes significantly to lipid residual vascular risk. It is also a very common lipoprotic phenotype and is associated with obesity, insulin resistance, coronary heart disease, metabolic syndrome, or type 21 diabetes mellitus (DM) .
