Abstract

THE RADICAL DUALITY OF THE HUMAN PERSON. AN ATTEMPT TO CONTINUE LEONARDO POLO'S TRANSCENDENTAL ANTHROPOLOGY The aim of this paper is to clarify the polian notion of radical duality. Radical duality is the co-act of human being seen from the dual perspective of Leonardo Polos transcendental anthropology according to which all human dimensions are dual. It is the human nucleus, as well as each one of the anthropological transcendentals (co-existence, freedom, personal intellect and gift love). As the human transcendentality means referrense to the Transcendent, the two members of the human radical duality are distinguished according to their dependence on God: the first is the transcendental being born insofar as the human person is born from God,and the second is the transcendental destinating insofaras it is transcended by finding in God its ultimate Destinator.
