Abstract

This study has a triple purpose: the exposition of the basic premises from which the administrative sanctioning procedure for unfair competition practices derives, in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2005/29/EC on Unfair Commercial Practices, as well as its transposition into Spanish Law; the determination of the sanctioning regime for said practices and the study of the bodies to which knowledge of them is attributed. The final part of our work will be dedicated to the comparative analysis between the scarcely studied sanctions for unfair competition practices and the more generic cases of those imposed on restrictive competition practices
