Resumen

Still far from a general design of public policies based on the recognition of migrants as subjects entitled to human rights and, in a context of special vulnerability, we will focus our study on a detailed examination in light of the constitutional jurisprudence of the right to effective judicial protection as a key element for the protection of the rest of rights and guarantee of their effectiveness, and the right to free legal assistance as an instrument of development of that fundamental right; however, given the interest that the «pro bono» culture has aroused in this matter as a social function of the Legal Profession, we will also offer an overview of the lights and shadows that this practice presents in comparison with the in-court representation services
