Resum

The high intellectual level of the debates that took place in 1512 Burgos about the nature of the American Indian population and finding the most appropriate ways to lay the foundations of coexistence between the Spanish and Indians in the overseas territories, clearly speaks of the importance of the characters involved in them. Some are well known by historians, but of no other path which we know through various testimonies included in the chronicles written by his contemporaries.
