Résumé
The analysis of the social, economic, technical..., conditions of the working people throughout the history offers some reliable but significant aspects to the global comprehension of that studies, as for exemple, this of the hour hand of work set up in the big architectural enterprises of the past. The study of the laboral hour hand applied to the building of El Monasterio de El Escorial (1562-1585), in its several fields and in its several socio-professional groups, covers an empty space in the outlook of the Social History, due to the vast repercussion of the Monument in contemporary and following buildings.
