Cooperación educativa familia-escuela, impacto en el consumo de drogas y en su prevención en el ámbito rural

Abstract

The education program in the municipality of Valbuena de Duero (area of Peñafiel, Valladolid) regarding drug consume prevention, is realised in collaboration with active agents in prevention, family (family-school cooperation) and 22 adolescents (12-16 year-olds). Corresponsability, interdisciplinarity, interprofesionality, volunteerism and critic research are the principal aspects followed in this community action. In the first phase, and based on a theoretic and practical conceptualization, the education situation (interests, resources, common problems and organization grade of the community action) is evaluated. Afterwards, the participants in the program set the objectives for avoiding drug consume and they establish strategies for promoting social support resources and mutual help for preventing drug consume. The Action Plan established, with diverse modules and guidelines, has been developed during 2004-2005 summer time. The actions have been evaluated positively (using questionnaires and observation checklists) by agents in the different aspects involved in the Action Plan. Finally some improvement proposals are added, for introducing self-management and social implication strategies for the next academic course.
