Abstract
Between 1549 and 1550, during the period of the Regency in Spain of the Kings of Bohemia, Maximilian and Mary, took place the design and implementation -certainly not done- a project of navigability of the river Pisuerga from the town of Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia) to the city of Valladolid, with the involvement of certain German engineers. The contribution of new documents relating to this project confirms Maximilian's personal interest in it, and rearrange the time the circumstances surrounding its development.
