Abstract

LCH is a rare prolifera/ion of Langerhans-type histiocytic ce/Is with a wide spectrum of biological behaviours, ranging from a single /esion of the jaws to diffusely distributed bone lesions in combination with organ and other soft tissue lesions. This article will review the current know/edge on ethio pathogenesis, clinicalfetures, diagnosis and management of this disease, discussing the main characteristics of jawbones and oral tissues involvement.
