Resum

Among the most relevant aspects in the transition process to adulthood are the educational attainment, the transition to labor market and the emancipation; although personal decisions may influence about when and how, It is the social structures that would determine the level of completed studies, the moment of incorporation into the labor market and the type of work, as well as the time of the residential transition. The economic situation, the educational system and specially the family background would influence these processes, resulting in remarkable differences among young people at the time of dealing with the educational, working and living transitions. In this article these differences are described according to several independent variables as age, sex, habitat type or family background, highlighting the heterogeneity among young people with regard to above mentioned variables. The 2011 and 2014 ECV (Survey on Living Conditions) of INE (National Institute of Statistics) is the fundamental database for the present project.
