Abstract

Could be measured the success wage? Is it different by gender? Why workers with equal human capital endowment receive different wages? In this paper, we try to answer these questions developing an index that the success is identified with receiving a higher wage than individuals who presents with us the same human capital endowments. In based of this concept, our research confirms the higher relevance of human capital to reach the success wage for both men and women, that the success wage is higher in the male group and that salary success is different between men and women.
