Funciones semántico pragmáticas del artículo en español para hablantes nativos de hindi

Abstract

Articles are very important when we talk about the Spanish language. However, all th e languages do not share this special grammatical characteristic, and if they do, they don't always have the same functions. Traditionally in the grammar rule books articles have been taught from the sintactic point of view where they merely engage in introducing the phrase which they belong to, however in the real conversations th eir uses could be different from the ones given in their syntax.The articles, apart from being determinants, can possess some differentiating semantic values that are very complex for th e no n native speakers to understand and apply. Given that Hindi and Spanish are two languages that d o not belong to the same family and the uses they make of some components as determinants are no t always the same we will do a review of the uses o f these components with a semantic or conceptual value.
