Resum
The health status of people, depends largely on the quality of their diet. The purpose of this study was to determine the levels of adherence to the Mediterranean diet in college students and to see if they were different depending on the BMI and the amount of physical activity practiced. A total of 71 individuals participated in the research, 57 of those were women (80.3%) and 14 were men (19.7%), all of them were between 18 and 28 years old. Adherence to the Mediterranean diet showed no significant difference p <0.05 regardless of their BMI and physical activity, although when comparing the high physical activity group with the low physical activity group there were differences between them.
