Resumen

The aim of this study was to analyze the reliability of two different techniques to assess impaired trunk range of movement with a stability limit test in para-athletes with different health conditions. A video analysis technique (2D) and a inclinometer movil application were used for this aim. 16 paraathletes took part in this study and trunk ROM was assessed in antero-posterior and mid-lateral axis. High relative reliability was obtained for the two techniques applied (0.74 < ICC < 0.98) being the video analysis technique (Kinovea software) more accurate (SEM% < 8.74). The results obtained in this study show that the video analysis technique is a reliable measure to assess impaired trunk range of movement in para-athletes.
