Abstract
This text argues for the need to incorporate the intercultural dimension in HeritageEducation, by analysing its implications for the design of educative programmes. Themulticultural nature of the current society is a reality that education faces as a challenge,looking for alternatives that promote a better inclusion and participation of its citizens. In theconcept of interculturality, Education finds some of the answers. For that reason, we approachour reflections to find out arguments for incorporating intercultural goals in educativeprogrammes of Heritage Education. Our arguments are illustrated with examples of alreadyimplemented projects within the framework of the Council of Europe.
