Résumé

From 2017 to 2020, two subjects of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Design and Product Development of the University of Valladolid, taught by architects belonging to different departments of the Schools of Architecture and Engineering, have been coordinated to participate in design competitions as a strategy for innovation and multidisciplinary learning, using collaborative learning as a basis and other complementary actions. Having verified that the dissemination of their projects motivates students considerably, in the last year this issue has been promoted through an exhibition with a catalog. Although the situation caused by COVID-19 has led to the introduction of some variations in the initial approach, the horizon of participating in the contest and in a new exhibition has maintained the interest of students and teachers, and the the results have been really fruitful on a didactic level.
