Resumen
The debates and controversies that exist about the cultural and tourist phenomenon of the festivals and historical re-enactments, increasingly fashionable, and especially about their historical rigor, the quality of the representations, the identities they express, their economic impact, etc., allow us to identify many questions and job opportunities that require deeper scientific investigation. The growing proliferation of historical re-enactments makes it necessary to begin to consider these cultural events as a whole as a festive and cultural product with its own entity, different from other types of traditional or popular festivals, which deserve the attention of the researcher so that they can provide us with a reflection objective and critical from your specific area. For this, an ideal methodology could be applied from the individualized analysis of cases, since there is a great diversity of historical re-enactments, each one with its peculiarities, in order to be able to later draw general conclusions. This will allow a better understanding of the characteristics of this cultural tourism resource, which presents great opportunities for growth and consolidation, but which suffers from some weaknesses, such as certain instability.
