Zusammenfassung
This article discusses the implications of external economic incentives in specific external financial incentives in particular border and peripheral regions. The study details successful cases in which EU investment has been key to developing the economy in these areas. Investment by the EU has been key to the development of the economy in these areas. This study concludes that while it is difficult to measure the economic implications, investment and funds such as INTERREG, with long-term forecasts, are with long-term forecasts are crucial to development.
