Resum

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) is characterized by hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention. Although the relationships between balance, posture and attention are well described, they have not been studied in this population. Alterations in its development cause constant body readjustments, increasing motor activity and compromising attention control. This work shows a pre-post intervention in a child with hyperactivity, attention deficit and vestibular alterations. It aims to prove the efficacy of a treatment based on a postural platform with visual feedback as a reinforcement system quantifying motor activity. As a pretest, oral language processes, executive functions and behavioral manifestations were evaluated. After 16 sessions of 20 minutes, an increase of stability, postural control and improvement of attention is evidenced. The use of this intervention procedure is proposed to improve the equilibrium and postural control in this population, validating it in wider populations.
