Resumen

The reintegration of people demobilized from illegal armed groups (GAOML) into civilian life is mediated by the need of this population to generate economic income through entrepreneurship or through employability. In this context, economic reintegration takes on great importance because it ensures the development of a dignified life and constitutes a factor that prevents recidivism. The present work analyzes the process of reintegration in Colombia and the existing statistics regarding this matter. It also presents a business case that allows understanding how the Sodexo Company has managed the hiring and permanence of participants in the Solutions program. The study also examines the reintegration process from a theoretical point of view, such as the supported employment model, and develops a process proposal and tools aimed at companies, which are based both on theoretical referents and the practical experience of said company. Given the focus of the book, its main audience is the academic community, although it can also be consulted by entrepreneurs, especially the last two chapters. For the development of the study, different primary (interviews, surveys, and observations) and secondary sources were used (official documents, research articles, press reports, among others).
