Abstract
The use of radiation therapy for breast cancer has substantially improved survival rates for this disease; however, one consequence of this is treatment-induced complications in patients who are increasingly living longer. Decades after chest wall irradiation, very late-onset radiation-induced osteomyelitis, caused by osteoradionecrosis, can develop. This is a very rare but a described complication in the literature. .
