Résumé

The expressions «social dialogue» and «social concertation» designate within our system of labour relations the same social process: the political exchange between public authorities and collective autonomy —regulatory power shared by the representation of the interests of workers and employers— to attention to the demands of government and consensus building in developed democratic societies, based on a formula for correcting and enriching the classic constitutional scheme from the liberal tradition. The absence of a reference to these processes within the current Constitution does not mean that there is no constitutional basis that serves as coverage and foundation, despite being formulated in a generic way. This article studies the dialogue and social agreement in Spain since the political transition to the current crisis, caused by the pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
