Abstract

Introducción. Los implantes dentales constituyen en la actualidad la opción terapéutica para la restauración funcional del edentulismo total. En un hueso mandibular maduro es viable la carga inmediata de los implantes ferulizados protéticamente. Método Este trabajo, muestra la evaluación de un paciente edéntulo inferior tratado con 4 implantes TOP DM (Bioner), los cuales son sometidos a carga inmediata, mediante una prótesis híbrida termoconformable (GT-Medical). Resultados Tras el seguimiento clínico, se analizan distintos parámetros clínicos con el objetivo de evaluar la eficacia del sistema TOP DM en la carga inmediata. Conclusiones Los resultados del presente trabajo indican que la rehabilitación protésica temprana de los implantes TOP DM en mandíbula, son una buena alternativa en pacientes edéntulos, presentando buena osteointegración y éxito clínico.
