Resumen
Relational Frame Theory (RFT) is postulated as an analytic-functional approach to the study of language and cognition that has shown satisfactory results in investigations with the priming paradigm like those obtained by cognitive theory. In recent years, the study of impulsivity as a mediator to personality variables in multiple psychopathological processes has been increased exponentially, as it seems to be at the base of the development of multiple psychopathologies. Likewise, the study of the experience of self and its relation to behavior results in a novel approach to personality. The main objective of this research is to explore the relationship between two behavioural tests (a priming test and a decision test) designed under the RFT postulates and variables of temperament, impul sivity and experience of self. A sample of 34 subjects performed both behavioural tests and answered four questionnaires: the Temperament and Character Inventory - Revised - Reduced Version, the Experience of Self Scale to measure the experience of the self a nd the Barrat Impulsivity Scale to take a measure of impulsivity. Spearman's rho correlation analysis showed moderate and significant correlations between the indexes of reaction times obtained for each test and the different factors, sections, dimensions and scales of the instruments used. It is discussed if both behavioural tasks can allow the evaluation of the implicit verbal behaviour of the participants from a RFT approach.
