Abstract

The role of women is especially relevant for the economic and social development of ruralareas. The entrepreneurship of these women has acquired an important role in recent years,contributing to the modernization and maintenance of the rural environment, andsupporting companies and traditional initiatives. In this work, a study is made of the profilesof the enterprising rural women, as well as their reasons and motivations that have led themto this initiative and the difficulties that have been found in their journey. The analysis isapproached from the perspective of the life stories of women who dedícate their work to thewine sector of the regions in Castille and Leon.
