Abstract

Nowadays entrepreneurship represents an accessible mechanism for the incorporation of young people into the labor market. Specifically, enterprises creation in the different agrarian sectors is a real source of employment for those newly graduated in some of the Green Engineering that have innovative ideas and entrepreneurial character. Consequently, a Teaching Innovation Project is being developed at the Technical School of Agricultural Engineering in Palencia. The main objective is to foster creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in agricultural, agroindustrial and forestry sectors. To achieve this goal, some actions and dynamics have been carried out in which both teaching staff and professionals related to entrepreneurship and business activities related to agroforestry and agro-food sectors have participated. Results show that although students in the first instance do not have a high entrepreneurial predisposition, they are sensitive to be trained in this topic and to develop creative ideas once they have finished their studies.
