Zusammenfassung

Various international organizations have highlighted the educational importance of misinformation. Using adescriptive and correlational quantitative methodology, it is verified, on the one hand, whether teachers alsoconsider it important to address the problem of misinformation in formal education. On the other hand, the aimis to find out to what extent the teachers of the different educational stages consider themselves competentto do so. It concludes with the need for specific teacher training for the implementation of a media and ethicseducation that emphasizes the responsibility of all as receivers, producers and reproducers of information.
