Abstract
The material culture recorded at El Ostrero archaeological site (Maliaño, Cantabria) is reviewed here. Our results show that the sitewas occupied in two different chronological periods; the earliest in the Iron Age and the other later occupation during the RomanAge. Most of the material culture may be dated between the 8th and 4th centuries BC, according to a radiocarbon date and thecharacteristics of the pottery assemblage.
