Abstract

The taxonomic characters of Quercus × andegavensis Hy (biological type �decidous tree�, young twigs, bark, buds, leaves, glans �peduncle, scales of involucre, stylopodia�) are studied and compared with those of his parents are. The most useful features are the presence and distribution of the indumentum. Its chorology is completed for the Iberian Peninsula, some localities are new records for any province distribution and one refers to its phytocoenology.
