«Antes de que la tormenta la deshojara»: propuesta didáctica sobre el uso del subtitulado en la enseñanza de la obra dramática "Emilia Galotti"

Résumé
An increasing number of theaters and audio-visual production companies film and upload performances and movie adaptations of literary works of reference to streaming platforms. In this learning initiative we suggest using the online audiovisual contents for the teaching of theatrical texts in a foreign language, commissioning their subtitling to students. To carry out the project, we have chosen to work with the subtitling website Amara that allows online subtitling and sharing subtitled videos on the Internet. In particular, the contribution describes the implementation of the project to teach, at an undergraduate level, German literature subject content through the analysis and subtitling of the final scene of the Emilia Galotti drama of G.E. Lessing. Thus, the current proposal aims to showcase the uses of audiovisual documents of performances and movie adaptations, and the practice of subtitling, for the study of theatrical texts.
