Las expresiones idiomáticas en el ámbito de la lingüística aplicada a la enseñanza del francés como lengua extranjera

Abstract

Lexical competence is an essential aspect in the field of applied linguistics. In order to proceed to a better acquisition of this in the framework of teaching French as a foreign language, we elaborated a didactic proposal. We have focused on phraseology, and in particular idiomatic expressions. Due to their characteristics, they constitute a stumbling block in achieving an effective linguistic exchange. Hence the need to include them in teaching programs. A cooperative approach is used, which undoubtedly entails an (inter) cultural perspective, since it is applied in an educational space with cultural diversity. In addition to promoting the acquisition of oral and/or written skills in students through exchange with another person, reflective learning is encouraged through the comparison between the mother tongue and the foreign language being learned.
