Abstract
This article approaches some important questions referring to the future of sociocultural animation as a methodology that is used in open and communitarian spaces. Some factors that can influence its development, as well as its future professional profile, are analysed. It concludes with provisional contributions, given the continuous changes taking place in all the social sectors of our society.
