Zusammenfassung

Visual arts are considered one of the most important resources for teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. This project is developed in two different parts. The first one is dedicated to find out in which way painting eases the learning of Spanish language. The second one shows a didactic proposal with Fight with cudgels by Francisco de Goya. Through Goya’s production, students manage to understand the Spanish tumultuous 19th century. This allows to develop and acquire the specific language and vocabulary, along with the knowledge of the cultural context.
