Résumé
he screening of a representative number of inventories of salmantinian (Salamanca, Spain) bookshops and libraries from the xvi century in search of grammars then in use allows discovering the necessary materials to reach a well-founded synthesis on the presence and development of systems and methods of linguistic observance: continuity, on the one hand, of the grammatical trends: ancient (normative, philological); medieval (philosoph-ical, speculative) and modern (humanistic, rhetorical), while on the other hand, it makes feasible to think on the sociological changes (in philosophy, education, politic, religion, etc.) together which they spread and on which they influence: Scholastic, Humanism, Re-forms, Modernity. And at the same time, the status of the involved languages is specified, sacred some of those by divine privilege (Hebrew, Greek, Latin), secular the others by uman prerogative (Spanish, Arabic, Italian, French, Portuguese), but in the urgency to establish, spread or assert himself.
